The Lake Geneva to the Sea cycle path offers a fascinating voyage
of discovery down the Rhône. Starting out from Lake Geneva and
heading south towards Port Saint Louis and the Rhône Canal at
Sète, you'll see the Rhône basin in a totally new light,
with its luscious countryside, its protected areas, its heritage,
and its many ports and stopping-off points.
You'll really soak up the local colour as you ride through villages
imbued with history, taking a rest or meal break whenever you feel
like it.
Want to head off on a tangent? Or skip part of the journey? No problem,
there are boats and local express trains with room for you and your
bike. So choose your jumping-off point - town or village - and sightsee
to your heart's content.
The Lake Geneva to the Sea cycle path is now under way. This site
is a promotion tool for the Rhône Valley and when completed
